Senior Marketing Manager - Brand and Growth

Role Overview

Flying Carpet Travel is seeking a strategic, data-driven, and creative Brand and Growth Manager to lead end-to-end marketing across performance, brand building, CRM, and global B2B coordination.

The role directly supports the VP of Marketing (U.S.-based) and manages a small in-house creative team (2 Designers + 1 Content Writer). The ideal candidate has deep experience with U.S. advertising platforms, growth marketing, and SEO, and can drive 0-to-1 brand expansion in both B2C and B2B segments.
This is a senior role requiring the ability to blend analytics, storytelling, and hands-on execution to build awareness, leads, and conversions for one of the world’s most unique travel platforms.

  • Reports To: VP of Marketing – Flying Carpet Travel (USA)
  • Experience Required: 8–12 years
  • Start Date: February 2026 (to enable transition and knowledge transfer)

Key Responsibilities

1. Growth & Performance Marketing

  • Plan and execute multi-channel paid campaigns across Google Ads (Search, Display, Performance Max), Meta, LinkedIn, Reddit, Taboola, and other U.S. advertising platforms
  • Drive homepage optimization and conversion improvements, working with the product and UX teams to reduce bounce rates and improve key landing pages
  • Build and execute SEO and content strategies to drive high-quality organic traffic across destination and product pages
  • Continuously monitor and optimize CTR, CAC, ROAS, and LTV across campaigns
  • Develop and manage database growth initiatives — lead magnets, newsletter signups, and one to one marketing strategies
  • Implement retargeting and lookalike audience strategies across platforms to boost conversions
  • Leverage AI-driven marketing strategies and automation tools to enhance targeting, personalize content, and optimize campaign performance across channels

2. Analytics, Dashboards & Reporting

  • Own GA4, GTM, and BigQuery dashboards to track user journeys, funnels, and conversions
  • Translate analytics into actionable insights for traffic growth, conversion rate optimization, and retention
  • Prepare and present weekly and monthly performance reports for the leadership team

3. Brand & Content Leadership

  • Lead campaigns that amplify Flying Carpet Travel’s brand positioning — blending discovery, inspiration, and authenticity
  • Manage content calendars and ensure brand consistency across all social, email, and partner touchpoints
  • Collaborate with the creative team to design high-performing assets for both B2C and B2B audiences
  • Support influencer collaborations, PR campaigns, and co-branded partnerships with tourism boards and airlines

4. Email Marketing & Database Growth

  • Manage and maintain the email marketing calendar for both B2C and B2B audiences, ensuring timely campaign execution aligned with product and seasonal priorities
  • Plan and set up email campaigns covering promotions, newsletters, product updates, and partner communications
  • Develop strategies to grow and enrich the subscriber database through website integrations, lead forms, and partner initiatives
  • Continuously monitor and improve email performance metrics including open rates, CTR, conversions, and deliverability

5. B2B Agent Marketing

  • Support global markets with targeted B2B marketing initiatives to onboard and activate travel agents
  • Develop sales enablement assets such as brochures, presentations, digital kits, and training materials
  • Build and execute strategies to acquire new agents and maximize revenue from existing partners through incentives, education, and retention programs
  • Coordinate with internal sales and partner teams to align marketing efforts with agent goals and performance

6. B2B Agent Marketing

  • Identify, source, and participate in high-impact trade shows, tourism fairs, and travel events that directly align with brand and conversion goals
  • Track and report event performance metrics including leads generated, cost per lead, and follow-up conversion rates to ensure events contribute meaningfully to overall growth.
  • Execute on-ground marketing initiatives in key markets — such as restaurant partnerships, pop-up experiences, media tie-ups, and radio outreach — designed to generate leads and engagement
  • Develop clear ROI objectives and post-event action plans to convert event visibility into measurable leads, sign-ups, and partner activations

7. Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead a creative team of 2 Designers and 1 Content Writer, providing clear briefs, direction, and performance feedback.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing culture centered on innovation and accountability.
  • Partner with the product, sales, support and tech teams to ensure marketing goals align with product roadmap milestones.

8. 0-to-1 Growth Strategy

  • Drive new-market entry strategies and go-to-market plans for upcoming products and regions.
  • Design scalable marketing systems, automation flows, and reporting frameworks from scratch.
  • Test, measure, and iterate rapidly to build growth playbooks that can be replicated across markets.
  • Establish Flying Carpet Travel as a recognizable and trusted travel brand in the U.S. and globally.

Key Skills & Requirements

  • 8–12 years of marketing experience in travel, e-commerce, or digital-first startups
  • Proven record of delivering measurable growth through paid, organic, and CRM channels
  • Expertise in GA4, GTM, BigQuery, SEO tools, and marketing automation platforms
  • Strong command of email strategy, database building, and retention marketing
  • Experience with conversion rate optimization (CRO) and homepage/UX improvement projects
  • Excellent communication skills and leadership experience managing small creative teams
  • Background in 0-to-1 growth or early-stage brand building strongly preferred

As part of our Learn & Earn Program, we are seeking a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer to design intuitive, engaging, and impactful digital experiences for students and travel partners.

The role will focus on designing the student-facing platform where learning modules, earning opportunities, and travel industry engagement converge. The designer will also contribute to the overall portal experience, ensuring accessibility, user satisfaction, and global appeal.

Key Responsibilities – General

  • Design intuitive user flows for students engaging with Learn & Earn modules, booking tools, and dashboards.
  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mock-ups for both web and mobile platforms.
  • Ensure seamless onboarding for students, making the program easy to navigate and visually appealing.
  • Collaborate with the product, content, and tech teams to deliver cohesive experiences.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing with students to refine designs.
  • Create and maintain a design system aligned with Flying Carpet Travel’s brand identity.
  • Ensure responsiveness and accessibility across devices and geographies.
  • Stay current with digital learning, gamification, and travel-tech design trends.

Key Responsibilities – Program specific

  • Create storyboards from modules developed, liaise with the program implementation partners with delivery methods including animation, video, gamification, live, role play, or any other.
  • Support with creating engaging content including but not limited to quizzes and polls, drag-and-drop scenario questions, creation of microlearning nuggets, etc.
  • Design and develop gamification tools like levels, leaderboards, and badges. Ideate competitions and challenges that inspire students.
  • Work closely with the program team to develop adequate scenarios and simulation learning like role-plays, real life case studies come alive, travel fulfilment tools in a trial environment.
  • You will also be responsible to create platforms for social and collaborative learning like discussion forums, peer reviews, live webinars and Q&A sessions.
  • Ideate with module developers and implementors to identify where clickable videos, interactive infographics, hotspots, etc. can be placed for maximum immersion learning.
  • Learning areas to be brought alive with progressive dashboards, personalized feedback on assignments, and simulated interactions as required.
  • Devise methods of continuous engagement like reminders and nudges to keep students on track, rewards and certificates, ideally with imaginative titles like ‘boarding pass’ or ‘frequent flyer miles,’ etc.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in design, Digital Media, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, preferably in edtech, travel, or e-commerce platforms.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing interactive dashboards, learning platforms, or booking interfaces.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or InVision.
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, responsive frameworks (bonus).
  • Ability to simplify complex workflows into engaging, user-friendly journeys.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with global teams.

Valuable Additional Skills

  • Experience in gamification and digital learning interfaces.

We are looking for a QA Engineer who is passionate about ensuring product quality and delivering exceptional user experiences. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in manual and automation testing, with a strong focus on mobile app testing, automation frameworks, and exposure to performance and security testing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute test cases for web and mobile applications.
  • Perform manual and automated testing for mobile apps (Android/iOS) and web platforms.

    • Basic automation knowledge acceptable if willing to learn and grow.
  • Performance Testing: Hands-on experience with JMeter or similar tools.
  • Security Testing: Exposure/knowledge will be considered a strong plus.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, STLC, defect lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of tools and frameworks such as TestNG, Maven/Gradle, Git (preferred).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments and learn quickly.

Qualifications

  • Certification in ISTQB (Foundation Level or higher) is an advantage.
