We are looking for a QA Engineer who is passionate about ensuring product quality and delivering exceptional user experiences. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in manual and automation testing, with a strong focus on mobile app testing, automation frameworks, and exposure to performance and security testing.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute test cases for web and mobile applications.
Perform manual and automated testing for mobile apps (Android/iOS) and web platforms.
Develop, maintain, and enhance automation test scripts using Selenium (mandatory).
Work with mobile testing frameworks like Appium and Espresso for native and hybrid apps.
Contribute to performance testing using JMeter or similar tools.
Collaborate with developers, BAs, and product owners to ensure alignment of requirements and testing.
Participate in regression testing, UAT support, and defect triage meetings.
Identify, log, and track bugs using Mantis/Jira or other defect management tools.
Ensure compliance with QA processes, test standards, and best practices.
Stay updated with emerging QA tools, techniques, and frameworks.
Required Skills & Experience
Mobile App Testing (mandatory) – Strong hands-on experience in testing Android and iOS apps.
Basic automation knowledge acceptable if willing to learn and grow.
Performance Testing: Hands-on experience with JMeter or similar tools.
Security Testing: Exposure/knowledge will be considered a strong plus.
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, STLC, defect lifecycle.
Knowledge of tools and frameworks such as TestNG, Maven/Gradle, Git (preferred).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in fast-paced environments and learn quickly.
Qualifications
Certification in ISTQB (Foundation Level or higher) is an advantage.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
