Cancellation Policy
- Once an activity booking is confirmed, cancellation charges will apply in accordance with the resort’s cancellation policy.
- Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled activity are free of charge.
- Cancellations made within 12 hours of the scheduled activity will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
- The Activities Team will confirm bookings for the following day’s activities during dinner on the preceding evening.
- In the event of adverse or intermittent weather conditions, the resort may cancel activities for guest safety. In such cases, no cancellation charges will apply.
Child Policy
- Activities for children aged up to 5 years are complimentary.
- Children aged 6 to 11 years receive a 50% discount on all activities, excluding scuba diving.
- Children aged 12 years and above are charged the full adult rate for all activities.
Exclusions
Airport & Boat Transfers
- Boat transfers between Vilankulo International Airport and the resort are not included in the package price.
- Your journey begins with a 15-minute road transfer by safari vehicle from the airport to the boat departure point.
- Shared boat transfers depart at 3:00 PM and 3:30 PM, with a journey time of approximately 60–70 minutes.
- Transfer charges:
- One-way: USD 45 per person
- Round-trip: USD 90 per person
- Children aged 0–5 years: Complimentary
- Children aged 6 years and above: Adult rate applies
- Return boat transfers from the island depart between 9:45 AM and 10:15 AM.
Important Information
- Guests are required to walk through shallow water to board the boat, as there is no pier or marina.
- Water-resistant footwear is strongly recommended.
Helicopter Transfers
- Helicopter transfers between Vilankulo International Airport and the resort are not included in the package price.
- Flights depart directly from Vilankulo International Airport, with a flight duration of approximately 20 minutes.
- Enjoy scenic aerial views of the Bazaruto Archipelago during your transfer.
- The latest scheduled helicopter departure from the island to Vilankulo International Airport is 3:00 PM.
- Transfer charges:
- One-way: USD 345 per person (inclusive of taxes)
- Return: USD 690 per person (inclusive of taxes)
- Children aged 2 years and above are charged the full adult rate.
Important Information
- Helicopter transfers are operated by a third-party provider on a Seat-in-Charter (SIC) basis and may be shared with other guests.
- The luggage allowance is 20 kg per person in soft-sided bags.
- Excess luggage can be transferred by boat with prior arrangement.
- If helicopter services are unavailable, a boat transfer may be arranged as an alternative.
- Where applicable, the alternative boat transfer is available at an additional charge of USD 150 per person.
- The final boat departure from Vilankulo is at 6:00 PM, subject to Coast Guard instructions and prevailing weather conditions.
